Christmas Eve 2011
St. Andrew’s celebrated the Feast of the Incarnation of our Lord with three services on Christmas Eve, and another on Christmas Day. Enjoy this look at the festivities! Click on any of the photos below for a closer look. Click here, or on any picture below, to view additional photographs.

The Twelve Voices of Christmas
The St. Andrew’s Drama Ministry presented three of “The Twelve Voices of Christmas” on the last Sunday of Advent, Dec. 18. This was a unique opportunity to hear from first-hand witnesses to the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through a series of dramatic readings. This year we heard from Mary, the Voice of Wonder, based on Luke 1:26-38; Zacharias, the Voice of Disbelief, based on Luke 1:5-25, 57-80; and the Shepherds, the Voices of Declaration, based on Luke 2:8-17. St. Andrew’s Choir presents cantata at Village at Westerville
The St. Andrew’s Choir presented its annual Christmas cantata for residents of the Village at Westerville Retirement Center on Sunday, Dec. 1. The cantata — “Holy Night of Miracles” by Lloyd Larson — was also be presented on Christmas Eve, prior to the 11 p.m. celebration of the Feast of the Incarnation of our Lord. Youth serve Christ through others
Members of the St. Andrew’s Youth Group, serving at the Lutheran Food Pantry downtown on Dec. 10, embodied the vows we take in our Baptismal covenant to proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ; to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself, and to strive for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being. Thanks to all of our youth who took time during this busy holiday season to be the hands and feet of the One whose birth we will celebrate a week from today. Jesus said, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40.) What a wonderful birthday gift the service of our young people at the Lutheran Food Pantry was for our Savior! Click here, or on any picture below, to view additional photographs.

Saints alive!
“Kids” of all ages donned their most creative costumes for our annual All Saints Procession, held this year on Sunday, Oct. 30, and the heard a homily by Fr. Ron Baird, our rector, about the true meaning of Halloween — All Hallows, or Holy, Eve. Click here, or on any picture below, to view additional photographs.

Fall fun and festivity
It was perfect fall day as St. Andrew’s held it first Harvest Festival & Rummage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 22! In addition to the rummage sale, the day featured a concert by “Calling of Levi,” our contemporary worship band; a visit from the Orange Township Fire Department; games for the kids, and food galore! Winners in the iPad raffles were Jeff Coffey, whose winning ticket was sold by Donna Gough, and Eric Whitehead. Congratulations to both! And a special thank-you to our festival coordinator, Julie Baldwin, and her team of volunteers. Click here, or on any picture below, to view additional photographs.
