Sanctuary Cross
This wooden cross is the focal point behind the altar in the Sanctuary at St. Andrew’s. The“X” overlaying the Latin cross symbolizes our patron saint, Andrew, who according to tradition was crucified on a cross of that shape, having claimed he was not worthy to be crucified in the same manner as our Lord.
